This is flavortown on steroids. If only they were open all week. Best food in Southern Maryland hands down

Oh how I wanted to love it based on the reviews but it was very disappointing. The crab cakes are frozen and mostly breading. The fish special mix was oily and overdone, the crab cakes in it were still frozen. The prices were kinda expensive for not so fresh seafood. I love the location but the food was sub par especially since it had quite a few 5 star reviews.

Was in the area on a mild, sunny Saturday afternoon, was looking for a light lunch, cocktail and a view. This place did not disappoint. So peaceful and relaxing. Orange crush (which was not on the menu but prepared by request) was delicious. Would recommend.

Went for Sunday brunch with a party of five. There was no wait and quick service. I had the Eggs Chesapeake. Others had the omelette, French toast. There were no complaints, nor did anyone rave about there lunch items. All-in-all, ok with a few exceptions. For me, for instance... my poached eggs were a little over done and the home fries were cold when served. We powered through but I wouldn't go back for brunch menu. We would give the regular menu a try, though. And one tip... We could have ordered from the regular menu during the brunch window. That's my plan for next time.
FYI. For my rating system: 3 stars= we'd go back; 4 stars=we could be regulars; 5 stars=we'd go out of our way to eat here. And, I don't rate places I think are 1/2 stars; tastes are too subjective. -

The location is remote, but worth the drive. Small with an excellent water front view. Seating on the dock is available. I had blacken catfish, which was spicy and flavorful. My sides we're green beans and salad. Beans were tasty and the salad was very fresh! Also ordered Cioppino (special menu option)which is; lobster tail, mussels, shrimp, clams, scallops and fish. It was excellent and I would highly recommend it. Cream of crab was the best I had in a lot my while. Staff was friendly and courteous. Tables we're a little small, but manageable. Overall it was a very nice experience and it will be a "return to" in the near future.
